Last-Blast Sunday Brunch April 30 Features Nations Vying in International Championship Playoffs
WELLINGTON, Fla. – April 27, 2017 – The 2017 IPC poloseason isn’t over yet! This year brings an additional tournament match thatextends the season to Sunday, April 30 and offers an optional light brunch fromthe best seats in the house.The featured match at 3 p.m. on Engel & Völkers field showcases Team USAagainst Team Mexico in the Federation of International Polo Zone “A” WorldChampionship Playoffs (FIP). The United States will once again have a chance tocompete for one of the eight slots in the FIP World Polo Championship,culminating in Sydney, Australia, in October. Where else can you spend the afternoon dining on adelicious brunch and watching from a fieldside table as players gallop by on finelytuned polo ponies in pursuit of international honors? At halftime everyone isinvited onto the field for the traditional divot stomp and champagne pour.General admission is $10 with access to green seats(first come first serve). Parking is $5 per carload.The special season-ender Sunday Brunch buffet (lightbrunch) opens at 2 p.m. It includes an array of breakfast, lunch and dessertitems. Tickets are $65, and there is a cash bar.
