Greenwich, CT (July 19, 2020) – It's official! Tickets for the 2020 East Coast Open at Greenwich Polo Club are now available for purchase. This is your chance to see some of the world's best teams and players compete live while enjoying an elevated outdoor fan experience you certainly won't want to miss.
Tickets are very limited, and once they sell out, we are at capacity, no more will be made available. There will be no sales at the gate; all guests MUST have a pre-purchased ticket for entry, so book your ticket today to guarantee you get in. The club will be staging this event at a reduced capacity, in full compliance with state guidelines, and with social distancing measures in place.
"We look forward to safely opening the Sunday matches to our loyal and dedicated fans this season, in a responsible and safe, socially distant manner," said Managing Director Leighton Jordan.
Safety protocols and procedures that will be in effect at GPC this season include and are not limited to:
Masks: All guests are expected to wear a mask when not at their seating/viewing location, i.e.: entering the grounds, transitioning to the restroom, etc. You may (but we don't encourage) remove your mask when seated with your group to watch the match, but only when at least 6 feet from other groups. Attendees are required to provide their own masks. Staff is required to wear face masks at all times.
Social Distancing: At all times, please keep a six-foot buffer distance from those who are not a part of your seating group. Ground markings will indicate social distancing when waiting for entry to restrooms, service at Pony Bar (if permitted at the time of the event), food trucks, etc. Restrooms will be attended to limit occupancy and perform the required cleanings.
Hand sanitizer: will be available at the entrance/exit to the field seating sections, as well as throughout the grounds.
GPC staff and ushers will be located throughout the grounds to assist and enforce safe and distanced seating spaces and masks when traversing the grounds.
Non-touch ticket validation will be used by all ticket scanners in mask & gloves at the gate
There will be no unassigned seating permitted, and gathering outside your reserved seating location is not permitted
The club will close 1-hour following the conclusion of the match. Guests are required to leave the premises upon closing.
Guests are asked to self-complete a CDC "Self Checker" questionnaire for self-screening before entering the premises
Although the events this year are going to be a little different, we are looking forward to continuing the unmatched fan experience that our guests have come to expect. This year's layout will be all reserved seating in each section, which will be done using a numbered 8' circle in the grass, with each space separated by at least 6 feet on all sides. We will limit the occupancy of each ticketed spot to 4 persons of the same household who arrived in the same vehicle.
It's our goal to make polo accessible and fun for all; we provide a wide variety of seating options fit for every family and budget. East Lawn car passes (entry for up to 4 passengers) begins at $40 and includes a reserved lawn space.

EAST LAWN $40 per car. Lawn seating on the EAST side of the field (see seating map). 8' reserved circle in the grass with social distancing between spaces. A picnic blanket or low chair is recommended. No shade provided. Umbrellas are available for reservation with space, $50, on tickets site, first-come basis.
GRANDSTAND BLEACHERS$60 per car. Grandstand Bleacher seating with an elevated view for optimal match viewing, includes access to VIP restrooms. Only small bags/coolers allowed. 2020 tickets will be a reserved 6' space, enough to accommodate 4 people. Bleacher seating blocks will be spaced 6' apart and alternate rows.
WEST VIP LAWN$150 for table w/ 2 seats, $250 for table w/ 4 seats. A special VIP lawn section in front of the grandstand. Lawn seating on the WEST side of the field, VIP restroom access. Includes 8' umbrella, with a bistro table and chairs
WEST GOAL LAWN $80 per car. Lawn seating on the west side of the field at each goal end. (pro-tip: most of the action takes place near the goals) 8' reserved circle in the grass with social distancing between spaces. A picnic blanket or low chair is recommended. No shade provided. Umbrellas are available for reservation with space, $50, on tickets site, first-come basis.
GRANDSTAND BOX $300 (seats 4). Private reserved box for four guests. The BEST elevated view of the match from the top our grandstand. Includes four chairs and 2 parking passes. Catering Options. Access to VIP bathrooms.
WEST CABANA$600 Three cabana car passes included (three cars of guests). 10’x10′ tent and private 20'x10' lawn in front, includes 8 chairs, cocktail table. Access to VIP bathrooms.
